There’s something truly magical about Christmas at Porter Pines — the crisp winter air, the scent of fresh evergreens, and the joy of families finding that perfect tree together. Established in 2020, our family-owned farm has quickly become a cherished holiday tradition for families near and far. Nestled in the countryside of the heart of Chilton County, Porter Pines is more than just a place to pick a tree — it’s a place to make memories that last a lifetime.
From the moment you arrive, you’ll be surrounded by rows of beautiful, fragrant trees — from classic Pines and a variety of majestic Leyland Cypresses to cozy Fraser Firs shipped in from the North. Take your time wandering through the fields to find the one that feels just right. You can grab a saw and cut your own, or let one of our friendly team members lend a hand with cutting, shaking, and baling your tree for the ride home.
But the fun doesn’t stop there! Sip on a warm cup of cider, roast marshmallows by the fire, and browse our handmade holiday wreaths and decorations. Hop on a scenic wagon ride through the farm, and don’t miss Santa’s visit — he’s always ready for photos and Christmas wishes! Kids will love finding our mischievous Porter Pines Elf and taking a spin on the reindeer barrel train.
At Porter Pines, we believe Christmas is about family, tradition, and togetherness. Since opening our gates in 2023, it’s been our greatest joy to be part of your family’s holiday celebrations.

Christmas Trees
Our Christmas trees are priced at $10 per foot, ensuring quality and value for every size. We are pleased to offer several beautiful varieties of Leyland Cypress, including Leighton Greens, Ovensii, Blue Ice, and Blue Naylors. We also offer Fraser Firs that will be shipped in from the North.

In the meantime, we are currently sold out of Virginia Pines for the 2025 season. Our fields have been replaced with White Pines and Scotch Pines, which will be ready for harvest in the future.
Our Christmas wreaths are also available for purchase.

For your convenience, Porter Pines accepts card, cash, and Venmo payments. A small processing fee will apply to purchases made by card.
Admission
Admission to the farm is free for everyone, but if your children would like to join in on all the fun activities, children’s armbands are $15 each. The children's activities are only available from 10am-2pm on the following dates: 11/22, 11/28, 11/29, and 12/6. Your little ones will enjoy a visit with Santa, a festive reindeer barrel train ride, roasting marshmallows by the fire, bouncing fun in the bouncy house, and creating their own art canvas keepsake to take home!
